Volunteering With the Horses

All horses need more than just mounted schooling. An unmounted schooler works on the ground with the horse to establish communication and connection with the horses.

 StirrUp Purpose has Beginner and Advanced mounted schoolers support the  fitness and training goals of the herd.

• Age 15+
• Complete the Horse Handler training
• Complete the Unmounted Horsemanship schooling checklist
• Complete the Horse Knowledge checklist
• Demonstrate knowledge and ability to perform the above checklists
• Be approved by a staff member

• Complete the Horse Knowledge checklist
